Great project and big thanks for sharing.

What kind of material is suggested for building this scale?
Something that will not rust and 3 mm? 5mm? More?

Is possible to order just PCB with soldered items?

I think the wood is the best to make it yourself.

The OpenHivescale is made with 2mm aluminum

Yes it's possible to order just PCB with soldered items
